Yeah, I don’t miss this…

Rooster definitely brought me a fresh copy of last year’s cold (non-cold, perhaps, since I heard that you can only catch the same cold once). Must roast chicken.

SBI summary to follow later; I didn’t blog it as I went along after all.
And…it’s SNOWING. In Salem. In November. That doesn’t happen.

At the moment, I’m doing nothing. Basically, it’s nice to no longer be either on or waiting for a plane. If I thought I actually could wake up after “just an hour or two” I’d be tempted to catch a nap, since the only sleep I got last night was during the first flight, and the entire flight was just over three hours. Heck, I still might.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone (some cute graphic or other to follow as soon as I find one on the internets). And for the people I’ll see at SBI: I’m sorry, but I think I just can’t bring a cold this time!

Maybe I’m crazy but gate C9 sounds oddly familiar. But, the connection to free wi-fi (yay PDX) is good and there’s a floor power outlet reachable from this seat for the laptop, and the place is really quiet ’cause there’s not another flight before mine, and the women’s room is nearby if I should happen to need it, so…I give at least this spot in C9 my seal of approval.
I’m not the one with the most ‘baggage’ here…

So, everything has to be in a 3.4-ounce or smaller container and in a quart plastic bag. Because terrorists can’t unzip a ziploc. And I’m just glad that terrorists are so fracking stupid that they think 3.5 ounces of exploding toothpaste is easier than breaking a 3.4-ounce glass perfume bottle.

I can’t say for sure whether it is or isn’t related to talking in parent conferences today. But, the sore throat may be coming back.

The operation seems to be in danger–my cold’s clearing up!
