Things that occur to me once I live in a more rural area:

There’s a thing that happens when you cram too many rats into too small a cage. They start chewing each other’s faces off. This is metro Phoenix. And even if you’re not the kind of rat that chews off other rats’ faces, you get used to it, and the lack of faces getting chewed off can be a little startling for a while, once you break out of the cage.

Move-out day is the 22nd…so, three weeks from now. Getting arrangements to fall into place is getting a bit hectic. I’ve applied for the new apartment and it’s kind of unofficially being held until the deposit gets there so it can be officially held.

I’m somewhere between “there’s three weeks of this insanity left?”, “there’s ONLY THREE WEEKS LEFT to get all this done,” “getting out of here in three weeks yay yay yay,” and “I have to wait another three weeks before I can get going?”
