I have a comment to make in regards to IP address 217.204.11.194, because the user has been around many SimCity/Spore related forums and sites. I know that it has been a troll too, and another alias I know is ‘Madeira AKA Constnatina’ of the same IP.

The alias Madeira AKA Constantina, plus Constantina comes from SC4Devotion. She’s Constantina at Simtropolis, SimCities, Sporeum and SporeEvolve (which is sporeev.com).
I hear that she holds several sockpuppets at SimCity Central.
I would support a server level ban by as many sites as possible on the 217.204.11.194 IP address. She IS not just a spammer.

Just found 217.204.11.194/Constantina mentioned here using google. That person has some serious problems.
But then again the IP belongs to the “National Autistic Society”. Maybe thats why. Someone by this name is vandalizing
in lincity-ng wiki, suggesting to block his own IP. Joe job or just sick?

…(continued) Let dedicate a post to the explanation of a server level ban, Maria. Do you mean the follwing:
“When a person tries to log onto a site, any part of the site plus the homepage, the server rejects the request and either returns a ‘banned’ message or a 403 Forbidden error.”
I think that is what it means, and i think it could be quite beneficary to webmasters as this person might be just plain annoying and stupid.
I’ll ask the author if he can start a discussion place about this troll. How it got the ’server ban’ list, it’s amazing.

Well, when someone’s willing to create multiple accounts, that makes username banning ineffective, so it goes to the necessity of IP banning.

Constantina has been banned from the Simtropolis forums only, at IP level, but unfortunately it doesn’t go far enough because she can still create accounts and possibly spam the ‘ST exchange’. Only a full server ban will do. Don’t hesitate to ask Dirk the webmaster if he can block 217.204.11.194 at server level. He doesn’t seem to respond regularly and I mean regularly, but it may pay off well.
I think I agree that a troll like this should lose all her privileges to Simtropolis.

Even alarminly she adds swear words.
I don’t think she is trying to spoil others work but she is trying attracting attention. I think it can be solved by blocking her from seeing the Site.

Tia May is an alias used by Constantina. The poster above is the same troll. Also, the person who made the blog chronicling this troll is also Constantina. Do not believe the contrary, this troll is using fake aliases to convince people that she is bigger than she really is. She runs the blog, and she has obviously posted here as Tia (pronounced Tee-ya).
This troll WANTS to be banned at these sites and is a huge attention seeker. Constantina has done some damage to several sites and users, so I would recommend this user gets what they want. Ban her. Ban her in every way possible so they cannot do anymore damage or impersonating or alias sock puppet making.

Oh, and I forgot to say that I am in the process of trying to get her search results removed so only the source IP address remains. I just wished she would apologise to the affected sites and the people she tried to wreck.

I wouldn’t bet on her doing anything like that anytime soon. It appears for now her blog site has been hacked or taken down by fellow trolls from “Anonymous” which is a hacker-thug online group responsible for hacking and tearing down many sites for “fun” and “laughs”.
She doesn’t have a conscience, otherwise she wouldn’t be trying to wreck people.
However, I think it should be noted that her illegal activities have been reported to the host that holds the main IP she used on her blog. Which also links to the Autistic Society in the UK.
I hope she doesn’t come back, but it doesn’t seem likely considering her blog was taken down once before after it was reported and then came back. All of her blogs appear to be shut down and her profile won’t display if you try to. Maybe Blogger finally listened to the reports.

Ha, and I thought I was the only one up this late. Anyways, it is quite funny how Constantina has basically posted on here several times and people haven’t noticed. She was Tia-May, now she’s Jane. I think this troll is trying to cover everything up. Make it go away. You destroyed their reputation so now you clean it all up from view, change your name, and resurface months or weeks from now on a different blog, that may be unsuspecting. I think it’s very smart IF it wasn’t so obvious.
Jane would love to have this locked off from further comments because if that happens, nobody can post new information, or report new IP’s found or bring this subject up, even.

You know, it’s sad actually. True, you only do this online, but you don’t realize that real people exist behind the screen. That you are actually hurting people. Perhaps you find it funny or even cute to attack others or impersonate them. Perhaps it’s a way to make up for your shortcomings.
I may sound like a criminologist, and you may only be one silly, internet troll. Maybe you need to rethink your priorities. Instead of trolling websites for quick thrills, maybe you should be a government hacker, or try your hand at IT management. What I have read is very upsetting because she has ruined the reputations of innocent people who may have been merely in the same forum community has she was, past or present. Whoever she is, needs to realise that what she has done is wrong and unacceptable and she should cease and desist the activities now and do something useful instead.
The same applies to every single troll that exists on earth. Their presence and activities, together with hacking and so forth has made many people feel insecure. If there would be a day when the trolls laid down their guns and did something useful for the internet as a whole I would be very happy even for those in Japan or anywhere. Constantina may try to silence us but we will not accept this.

I don’t believe for a second that six comments in about as many hours is a coincidence–I don’t get enough traffic to buy that. This conversation about fighting spam is getting spammish itself.
New ground rules.
1) Only post on this page if you have something to say that is of value to others. Like a way of fighting spam.
2) No more “omg this is awful” stuff. Not helpful.
3) Do not attempt to appeal to the human decency of spammers. If they had any, they wouldn’t be spammers in the first place.
If this carries on, I will start deleting off-topic comments, IP banning commenters, and locking pages, in that order. This is getting ridiculous and boring.

Anyways, I agree. This conversation has been riddled with some pretty silly posts, and some of them are obviously from the troll in question.
